Responsibilities
- Inspecting surfaces to be tiled
- Surface preparation work (e.g., removing old grout and cement and cleaning and leveling surfaces)
- Fabricate, alters, repair, and maintains walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathrooms, showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces
- Lay blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, and drawings
- Lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks.
- Reading and following technical drawings.
- Mix cement using hoes, cement mixing equipment, and /or hand tools
- Mixing cement and mortar.
- Laying tiles following tiling plan, cutting tiles where necessary
- Grouting gaps between tiles
- Carrying out finishing work, where necessary
Requirements
- NABTEB / SSCE or any relevant qualification
- Trade Test I, II, and III is a must-have
- Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
